 | Walden Fashions Shutout Against Coney Island Sunday, July 21st, 2013 The Coney Island Cyclones met their match today in Winfield hurler Roy Walden. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 2-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," the Coney Island skipper said. "He probably didn't even take a shower after the game. I don't think he even worked up a sweat. They could probably pitch him again tomorrow." In the 5-0 victory Walden whiffed 6 and gave up 2 walks. For the year Walden has compiled a 7-9 record with a 3.28 ERA. |   |
