 | BOL Awards Best Batter Prize to Nakanishi Monday, June 10th, 2013 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Buck O'Neil League, but last week Ryosei Nakanishi of the Baltimore Blue Claws reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Nakanishi rocked opposing pitching for a .520 average (13-25), no home runs and 0 RBIs to come away with the award. In his season totals Nakanishi has 3 home runs and a .268 batting average. |   |
