 | Robert Hood Blanks Cincinnati Monday, September 22nd, 2014 In an excellent mound performance, Robert Hood of the Carson City Mustang whitewashed the Cincinnati Snaps 5-0 on a 4-hitter. He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches." The Cincinnati manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. Hood did a good job keeping us guessing." In all, the Carson City hurler rang up 7 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout win. On the year Hood has worked 186 innings with 129 strikeouts en route to a 12-6 record and 4.31 ERA. |   |
