 | Bartlett's Strong Week Earns ACL Trophy Monday, September 1st, 2014 22-year-old Joe Bartlett made a few Silicon Valley headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Alexander Cartwright League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 8 hits in 17 at-bats to put up a .471 average. Bartlett collected 5 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 8 runs. Bartlett is presently hitting at a .273 pace with 11 home runs and 20 RBIs. He has played in 40 games and scored 23 times. |   |
