 | Jacksonville's Sparks Snags June Batting Title Monday, July 1st, 2013 Dwayne Sparks of the Jacksonville Hellcats spoke softly and carried a big stick in June and was justifiably proclaimed the Alexander Cartwright League Batter of the Month. The Hellcats first baseman rapped out a .406 batting average with 39 hits in 96 at-bats, drove in 22, scored 20 runs and chalked up a .521 on-base percentage. Thus far this season Sparks has hit .399 with 15 home runs, 62 RBIs and scored 54 times. |   |
