Major Injury Strikes Greene Friday, August 3rd, 2012 Teammates rushed to the side of Philadelphia shortstop Bobby Greene, when he was hurt in the Philadelphia-Detroit game yesterday at The Bell. They were right to be concerned about Greene -- he had suffered a concussion colliding with a player at a base. This type of injury, most likely, not only ends the season for Greene, but also his career. Greene has collected 50 hits for the Freedom this year, 4 of them home runs. He has also netted 23 RBIs and scored 26 runs while batting .272. |   |
