 | Paul Carter Hurt, Out of Action Friday, June 8th, 2012 The Joplin Fireballs will have to make do without Paul Carter for 4 months. He suffered a torn back muscle while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Acapulco Banditos. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the starting pitcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." So far this season Carter has 2 wins and 7 losses and a 4.98 ERA. |   |
