 | Another Setback For Philadelphia's John Woodard Monday, May 26th, 2014 John Woodard was taking it slow and easy, nursing a lacerated hand back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Philadelphia team official, "John was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 27-year-old Freedom left fielder would be out at least another one week. Looking at his season stats, Woodard has compiled a .267 batting average and a .333 on-base percentage, while hitting 1 home run and driving in 3 runs. |   |
