 | KSL Player of the Week Selected Monday, May 26th, 2014 So far in his young career, John Byford has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Kade Stenson League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Bristol City Smugglers right fielder hit at a torrid .550 clip as he collected 11 hits in 20 at-bats, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Byford is hitting .378, produced 36 RBIs and 9 home runs, scored 26 times and gotten on base at a .439 rate. |   |
