 | Dave O'Rorke Hurt, Out 12 Months Wednesday, August 29th, 2012 San Diego Tomcats starting pitcher Dave O'Rorke left yesterday's game against the Carolina Crush after suffering a torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch. O'Rorke was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today O'Rorke is expected to miss 12 months. Presently O'Rorke has a 4-4 mark in 14 starts with a 5.31 ERA. He has given up 97 hits in 79.2 innings, struck out 42 and issued 41 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .293 batting average against him. |   |
