 | Jackson Misses Time with Day-to-Day Injury Wednesday, August 15th, 2012 South Carolina's star left fielder Stephen Jackson injured himself in a game against the Carolina Crush, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a bruised foot and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Jackson with a smile as he talked to reporters. This year Jackson has hit 18 home runs and posted a .324 batting average. |   |
