 | Emílio Guerrero Sidelined for 3 Weeks Friday, June 29th, 2012 It took the Kansas City team doctor a while to realize it, but third baseman Emílio Guerrero won't simply play through a fractured rib after he got hurt colliding with a player at a base in today's Toreros-Tornadoes game. At first, it looked like Guerrero might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 3 weeks. Thus far this year Guerrero is hitting .254 with 17 home runs, 41 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |   |
