Setback For Republic and Joe Frost
Thursday, October 9th, 2014
Republic shortstop Joe Frost has suffered a setback in his rehabilitation for back spasms. He was expected to finish treatment soon and rejoin the team slightly ahead of schedule, but now doctors will reevaluated him after he felt severe pain in a recent workout. The preliminary examination revealed more damage and is worse than the first injury. Anonymous sources in So Cal told BNN Joe Frost would be absent from the roster quite a bit longer than originally diagnosed. He would now have to miss at least 6 days.

In 117 games this season Frost has compiled a .297 batting average with 145 hits and 15 home runs. He has also scored 72 times and knocked in 56 runs.
