 | Seattle's Dane Moore Suffers Setback Tuesday, August 19th, 2014 Dane Moore was taking it slow and easy, nursing a torn ligament in his thumb back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Seattle team official, "Dane was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 24-year-old Sasquatch shortstop would be out at least another 2 weeks. Moore is presently hitting at a .271 pace with 22 home runs and 56 RBIs. He has played in 100 games and scored 71 times. |   |
