 | More Woes For Hornets Eduardo Gómez Sunday, July 13th, 2014 The Eureka Hornets trainer was the bearer of bad news today as it was learned Eduardo Gómez's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Hornets third baseman is being treated for shoulder tendinitis. During a routine exam, Gómez's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another 6 days. This season Gómez is swinging the bat at a .283 rate with 58 hits in 205 at-bats. To date he has hit 5 home runs, scored 31 runs and driven in 36. |   |
