 | McNuir Fires Shutout in So Cal Victory Friday, July 4th, 2014 In an excellent mound performance, Dave McNuir of the So Cal Republic whitewashed the New York Mafia 3-0 on a 3-hitter.
He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches."
The New York manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. McNuir did a good job keeping us guessing."
In all, the So Cal hurler rang up 2 strikeouts and 1 walk in the shutout win.
McNuir has made 17 starts so far this year and put up a 7-5 won-lost record with a 3.35 ERA. In 110 innings he has allowed 107 hits, walked 19 and struck out 97. |   |
