 | Powers Caps Great Week Monday, June 30th, 2014 There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Frank Powers, the Maple right fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week honors. Powers piled up 14 hits in 28 at-bats, 1 home run and 3 RBIs while hitting .500. This season Powers has banged out 106 hits in 305 at-bats for a .348 average with 6 home runs.
