 | Hit Streak Now at 25 for Powers Thursday, June 26th, 2014 Frank Powers's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 25 games. The Maple right fielder smacked 2 hits against Boston in today's game at Legends Park to extend it, but he has mixed emotions about it. After losing to the Boston Cardinals, Powers told reporters, "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose." Frank Powers singled in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and walked in the 8th. This season Powers is hitting at a .344 pace with 5 home runs, 23 RBIs and has scored 48 times. |   |
