 | 5-Hit Blitz by Seattle's Reynolds Tuesday, May 6th, 2014 There are moments in a player's career that are etched into their memories forever. Blake Reynolds of the Seattle Sasquatch had one of those moments when he went 5 for 5 at the plate today in the 11-1 win over the Boston Cardinals at St. Sebastian's Cathedral. The 24-year-old first baseman told reporters in the postgame interview, "This is a day I won't forget soon, but I'll settle to just get a hit or two every day... enough hits to hang around the league a little bit longer... like 10... 15 more years maybe." Blake Reynolds hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Adam Thomas in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Reynolds is batting .300 this year with 10 home runs, 28 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 33 hits in 110 at-bats. |   |
