 | 5-Hit Blitz by Davis Sunday, April 13th, 2014 Getting 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Ann Arbor's Brooks Davis had a very special day against the Bandits when everything came together for him. He really swung the bat with authority, getting 5 hits in 6 at-bats. However, it was Montreal that picked up the victory. They topped the Barn Owls 12-11 at Huron River Park. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Davis said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em. I had a great day, but the loss kinda put a damper on the day." Disappointed or not, he still gets his name written in the record books. Brooks Davis singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Davis currently has a .313 batting average with 10 hits, 1 homers, 3 RBIs, 4 runs scored and a .313 OBP. |   |
