Monday, August 12th, 2013
The Georgia Ghost Busters were dealt a severe blow when Evan Warner was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the San Francisco Earthquakes. After the game, the team trainer reported Warner might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 27-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a strained hamstring. They indicated it would take Warner at least 2-3 months to heal.

Checking out his stats for the season, Warner has registered 10 wins and 10 losses in 25 starts, 2.95 ERA and struck out 117 batters in 165 innings.
