 | Joe Leftwich to Miss 6-7 Weeks Friday, August 2nd, 2013 After injuring himself, Capitalists right fielder Joe Leftwich headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after running the bases and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Leftwich will miss at least 6-7 weeks with a torn meniscus. Presently Leftwich is batting .346 with 19 home runs and 57 RBIs. He has played in 110 games and scored 67 times. |   |
