 | Wade Slaps 5 Hits Saturday, June 29th, 2013 Mile High second baseman Jeff Wade put on quite a show at Golden Gate Park with a big 5-hit day in the 4-3 victory over the San Francisco Earthquakes. In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate... 5-5... wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average... and my salary, too." Jeff Wade singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This season Wade is batting .302 with 73 hits, no home runs, 22 RBIs, 25 walks, .368 OBP and has scored 33 runs. He has played in 59 games. |   |
