 | Strickland Goes Hitless, Streak Stopped at 20 Wednesday, May 29th, 2013 Don Strickland had his hitting streak snapped at 20 games today during a 1-0 Maple win over the Dallas Texans at Metroplex Park. The 23-year-old first baseman was hitless in 4 at-bats. This season Strickland has banged out 47 hits in 152 at-bats for a .309 average with no home runs. He is getting on base at a .340 pace and his totals also include 12 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |   |
