 | CL's Top Hitter Announced Wednesday, August 1st, 2012: July's Hitter of the Month has been selected by the Central League. This month's trophy was presented to the Yomiuri shortstop, Tetsu Nishimura. He starred by hitting .366 with a .458 on-base percentage, totaled 26 hits in 71 at-bats, 7 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 14 runs. This year Nishimura is batting .341 with 19 home runs. He has scored 48 runs and driven in 72. |   |
