 | Red-Hot Rampage Reaps PL Reward Monday, July 23rd, 2012: The premier performer in the Pacific League this week was Shimei Omori of the Saitama Seibu Lions. The hot-hitting 22-year-old first baseman put up a .500 average and .636 on-base percentage, piling up 4 hits in 8 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the PL Player of the Week honors. Currently Omori is batting .295 with 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |   |
