 | Kanno Puts Spell on Yokohama Wednesday, June 27th, 2012: In an almost effortless performance, Kazuhiko Kanno of the Dragons shot down the Bay Stars 14-0 on a 1-hit shutout. His skipper said, "Kazuhiko was just locating so well and using his pitches... not leaving anything over the plate." Kanno recorded 11 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. In the postgame press conference, the Yokohama manager said, "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game like he can and we couldn't get a key hit off him." This year Kanno has fashioned a 11-1 mark, 3.44 ERA and pitched 99.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .232 against him and he has logged 111 strikeouts. |   |
