 | Tigers Fujita and Bay Stars Kimura Suspended for Fight Wednesday, May 16th, 2012: Hot tempers flared and a few punches were thrown at the Hanshin and Yokohama game yesterday and ended up with two players ejected. Yoriie Fujita of the Tigers and Tanzan Kimura of the Bay Stars have now been reprimanded and issued 5-game suspensions by the league commissioner for their parts in the fracas. For the season Fujita has produced 13 hits in 92 at-bats for a .141 average with 1 home run and gotten on base at a .255 clip. To date, Kimura has collected no saves in 9 relief appearances. He has rung up 7 strikeouts and 9 walks in 18.2 innings while registering a 4.34 ERA and a 0-0 won-lost record. |   |
