 | Kobayashi Caps Great Week Monday, May 7th, 2012: It was a fantastic week for Hokkaido Nippon-Ham center fielder Takanibu Kobayashi and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Pacific League Player of the Week Award. Last week Kobayashi hammered the ball at a torrid .500 pace, going 13-26 with no home runs, 4 RBIs and 9 runs scored. For the season Kobayashi is hitting .446, batted in 18 runs with 2 home runs and 27 runs scored. |   |
