 | 3-HR Game for Kogawa Wednesday, September 25th, 2013: Sukejuro Kogawa, the Chunichi left fielder, blasted three homers today at Ballpark of Nakashibetsu College in the Dragons 13-3 victory against the Yokohama Bay Stars. For the game, Sukejuro Kogawa scored 4 times and knocked in 4 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Kogawa, when he reached home plate. In the clubhouse after the game, he gleefully said to the press, "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-4, three roundtrippers and a win. What a day!" Kogawa currently has a .294 batting average with 65 hits, 21 homers, 56 RBIs, 56 runs scored and a .382 OBP. |   |
