 | Takuda and Shinohara Suspended 10 Games Sunday, September 15th, 2013: There was a mass free-for-all yesterday at Sailboats Ballpark. Both dugouts emptied when Tohoku Rakuten's Tokuhei Takuda and Tokyo Yakult's Naofumi Shinohara scuffled with one another after some heated words. In an official statement today, the league commissioner suspended both parties for 10 games. This year Takuda is batting .284 with 105 hits, 25 home runs, 76 RBIs, 52 walks, .393 OBP and has scored 84 runs. On his stats sheet for the year Shinohara shows a 5-5 record, 20 starts, 113.2 innings, 100 strikeouts and a 5.31 ERA. |   |
