Sunday, August 25th, 2013: If you can't hit 'em, you can't beat 'em. That was the story today at the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham-Chiba Lotte clash at Ballpark of Hakui College. Fighters twirler Masahide Memoto gunned down 15 Marines via strikeouts and beat them 6-3. In a superb performance he allowed 6 hits and issued no walks for the victory.
This season Memoto has compiled a 14-3 mark, 3.38 ERA and made 19 starts.
