 | Takuda Takes Best Bat Trophy in June Monday, July 1st, 2013: Tokuhei Takuda has a lot going for him. The Tohoku Rakuten center fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the Pacific League has just picked him as its top hitter for June. In 18 games last month, this outstanding rookie batted .325 with 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and 27 runs scored. In his stats this season, Takuda has posted a batting average of .300 with 68 hits in 227 at-bats, 15 home runs and 50 RBIs.
