 | Endo Wins CL Player of the Week Prize Monday, June 24th, 2013: The hottest bat of the week belonged to Hiroshima Toyo catcher Saikaku Endo. He went on a rampage last week against CL hurlers and rapped out 8 hits in 22 at-bats for a .364 average while hitting 7 home runs, driving in 11 runs and scoring 12 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Central League Player of the Week trophy. Endo was honored today at a press conference. This year Endo is batting .299 with 56 hits and 19 home runs. He has scored 54 times and has batted in 42 runs. |   |
