 | Barrage of Hits Gets Kogawa CL Award Monday, May 27th, 2013: All week long Mashashi Kogawa was the talk of the Central League... his name and face were everywhere. So it was no surprise to anyone when he was chosen the Central League's Player of the Week for his exceptional performance. Kogawa put up a solid set of stats, compiling a .526 average (10-19) and contributing 3 home runs and 9 RBIs to claim the honor. So far on the season Kogawa is hitting .370 with 5 home runs, 34 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 40 hits and played in 28 games. |   |
