 | Yomiuri's Kondo CL Star of the Week Monday, May 20th, 2013: The Yomiuri Giants received word today that center fielder Norinaga Kondo was selected Central League Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Kondo took full advantage of all 32 plate appearances last week as he hit .571 with 16 hits, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 11 runs scored. So far this season Kondo has hit .394 with 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and and scored 28 times. |   |
