Saitama Seibu whipped Hokkaido Nippon-Ham 9-8 and Ryu Nakamura displayed a hot bat, enjoying an outstanding 5-hit day at Field of the Chariots. "Some days, lady luck is on your side," he modestly told BNN reporters after the game. His manager told the beat writers otherwise, "His hitting wasn't luck today. It's his solid approach to hitting.
