 | PL Player of the Week Named Monday, May 13th, 2013: A veteran of baseball wars, Makoto Watanabe knows how to stay with a stroke that's working for him. The 36-year-old right fielder for the Hawks batted .522 last week on his way to the Pacific League Player of the Week award. His noteworthy week also featured 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 5 home runs, 14 RBIs and 10 runs scored. Thus far in 2013 Watanabe is hitting .379 with 10 home runs, 31 RBIs, 23 runs scored and has compiled a .492 OBP. |   |
