 | Hirose Blisters Chiba Lotte Friday, May 10th, 2013: Hokkaido Nippon-Ham right fielder Soshu Hirose really lit up the Chiba Lotte Marines with a 5-hit barrage today at Ballpark of Nasu College -- a performance that sparked the Fighters to a 12-3 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Soshu Hirose doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Yoshihito Okumura in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th. This year Hirose is batting .330 with 10 home runs and 32 RBIs. In 24 games he has scored 26 times. |   |
