 | Philippe Rossi Wins LBL Trophy Monday, June 4th, 2012: Swinging a hot stick last week, Philippe Rossi picked up the Lester B. Person League Player of the Week Award today. The 24-year-old catcher for Saskatoon lashed 8 hits in 21 at-bats as he put together a .381 average with 4 home runs. Rossi also drove in 8 runs, scored 8 times and compiled a .458 OBP. For the year Rossi has hit .323 with 17 home runs, 38 RBIs and scored 49 runs. |   |
