 | Latimer Earns May's Top Batter Prize in LBL Friday, June 1st, 2012: For a rookie just breaking in, Rich Latimer certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the LBL Batter of the Month award for May. The 30-year-old right fielder for the Calgary Outlaws hit .456 with 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and 27 runs scored. This season Latimer has hit 14 home runs and posted a .433 batting average. |   |
