 | Ostrom Wins LBL Best Player Award Monday, May 14th, 2012: A battle-tested Roy Ostrom declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 36-year-old London left fielder collected the Lester B. Person League Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .643 average, 9 hits in 14 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Thus far this season Ostrom is hitting .412 with 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
