Tuesday, May 1st, 2012: April's top hurler was Mike Humphries of Victoria. He shackled Lester B. Person League hitters the entire month and claimed the Pitcher of the Month award with a sparkling 5-1 mark.
The 24-year-old Humphries added 39 strikeouts in 39 innings and 18 walks to his season record and compiled a 3.92 ERA. Other clubs hit .196 against him.
