 | Churchill Belts 5 Hits Wednesday, April 25th, 2012: "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Niagara left fielder Mark Churchill said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the London Monarchs. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." However, his sensational day wasn't enough. The Monarchs won the ballgame 10-6. The disappointed Churchill said to reporters, "I guess you can't always have it all." He added, tongue in cheek, "I guess it's better to go 5 for 5 and lose than it is to go 0 for 5 and lose." Mark Churchill hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. So far this year Churchill is hitting .397 with 4 home runs. |   |
