 | 5-Hit Blitz by Kelowna's Mrazek Tuesday, May 21st, 2013: It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. It might come around only once in a career -- a lot of players never have one -- but Herb Mrazek got one today. He scattered hits all over Corvettes Ballpark to pace Kelowna to a 7-5 victory over Calgary. The Calgary skipper told reporters in the press room, "Tip your hat to him. He hit some good pitches. According to the scouting report, Mrazek hit several that he is not supposed to hit." Herb Mrazek doubled in the 1st, tripled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. This year Mrazek is hitting .312 with 4 home runs and 25 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .403 clip and scored 30 runs. |   |
