 | Troke Bangs 3 HR Against Niagara Saturday, May 11th, 2013: Every now and then, the right things happen at the right time. Tyler Troke discovered that when he smashed three homers at Ballpark of Red Deer College during today's 18-8 win over the Niagara Stars.
The Saskatoon right fielder said in the postgame interview, "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them. The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it."
Troke finished the day with 3 hits in 3 at-bats and 7 RBIs.
Tyler Troke hit a solo-shot off Bruno Dubois in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Bruno Dubois in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, walked in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Maxime Rondeau in the 7th.
This season Troke has banged out 57 hits in 156 at-bats for a .365 average with 22 home runs. He is getting on base at a .448 pace and his totals also include 66 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |   |
