 | Injury Setback Forces Ron Andrews Into Retirement
Tuesday, January 1st, 2013: The Ohio State Buckeyes announced today that the playing career of third baseman Ron Andrews looks to be over. Andrews, who had been trying to recover from a torn labrum, reported having more trouble with the injury recently and consulted specialists. Unfortunately, tests revealed that the injury had gotten worse and now Andrews will likely have to retire from the game.
