Monday, June 4th, 2012: News out of Long Beach State is not cheery today as the 49'ers have discharged general manager Juan Jose Flores. One of the league's most vulnerable GM's, Flores has had a bull's eye on his back ever since the team's fortunes started to fade, but had somehow endured until today.
Upper management thanked Flores for his service, but have already begun seeking a replacement.
