 | Juan Medina to Miss 4 Months
Thursday, May 3rd, 2012: Earlier today, Ohio State starting pitcher Juan Medina had to leave the game against Michigan because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a torn rotator cuff and will miss 4 months of play. Medina was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians.
To date this season, Medina has a record of no wins and 4 losses and a 4.12 ERA. He has appeared in 9 games and struck out 33 in 39.1 innings.
