 | Rivera Rocks Longhorns for 3 HRs Saturday, April 28th, 2012: Fans seated in the bleacher section at Ballpark of Celebration College were taking cover all day long as Mario Rivera took aim, rattling three long blasts off the seats in a display of Herculean power. Days like this are rare. After his amazing performance in TCU's 16-10 triumph over the Texas Longhorns, the right fielder's name will soon be added into the record books. He told reporters at the postgame press conference, "I told myself not to press on the last one. I knew I couldn't force it... that it has to be a nice easy swing." For the game he collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, batted in 4 and scored 4 runs. Mario Rivera hit a solo-shot off Eugene Downs in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Eugene Downs in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Augusto Gonzáles in the 6th, walked in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
